The sea on your plate
The Mediterranean, from quay to table
Here the seafront isn't just scenery. Every morning the Pointe Rouge fishermen bring in their catch, and it decides the day's menu: sea bream, sea bass, octopus or shellfish, depending on what the bay has given.
Our Mediterranean cooking stays homemade, simple and generous. We let the produce speak — a drizzle of olive oil, a few herbs, freshness as its only signature.
What makes the place
Why people come back to dine by the sea
The morning's catch
The catch of the day comes straight from the Pointe Rouge boats, never frozen.
A south-facing terrace
Open view over the sea and the islands, string lights at night, sea breeze all season long.
The Marseille spirit
Homemade Mediterranean cuisine, wood-fired pizza and a laid-back welcome, right by the water.
The terrace
Facing the sea, from lunch to sunset
Our terrace opens wide onto the Mediterranean. Lunch in the sun, dinner as the bay turns orange, a glass of chilled wine in hand.
It's the place for long, lingering meals: with friends, family or your loved one, facing the water, time slows and the service follows your pace.

The l'Estéou experience

Between Pointe Rouge beach and the horizon of the calanques, you come to l'Estéou to switch off for the length of a meal. The lapping water, the southern light and a plate from the sea: that's all the charm of Marseille.
