A pizza close to home, facing the sea
In the south of Marseille, l'Estéou is the place where pizza is enjoyed almost with your feet in the sand: dough worked on site, a wood-fired bake and a terrace open onto the Pointe Rouge harbour.
More than a takeaway pizza, a real moment
Typing "pizza near me" in the 8th, in Bonneveine, Prado or Mazargues often means hoping for better than a lukewarm pizza in a box. At Pointe Rouge, l'Estéou invites you to sit down, look at the sea and enjoy a pizza straight from the wood oven.
Here, pizza has its full place in a proudly Mediterranean menu, alongside grilled fish and tuna tartares. A thin, crisp crust, a generous topping, and a dining room with colourful banquettes for evenings when you'd rather be inside.

Three reasons to make the trip

The wood fire
A fierce heat that sets the dough in minutes, puffs up the edges and gives it its unmistakable smoky notes.
Artisan dough
Worked on site with a slow proof, for a thin, light and easy-to-digest crust.
Southern produce
Burrata, anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, olives: seasonal toppings following the Mediterranean market.

Pizza tastes better at sunset
At the end of the day, the light gilds the harbour, the garlands come on and the wood oven is in full swing. You share a pizza in the middle of the table, raise a glass, and the evening settles in gently facing the sea.

Your seaside pizzeria, just minutes away
l'Estéou welcomes you at 1 Avenue de la Pointe Rouge, 13008 Marseille, right on the seafront. From the city centre, Prado, Bonneveine or Mazargues, Pointe Rouge is just a few minutes away along the coast.
We are open Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday: 12pm-2pm), from 10am to midnight (closed on Monday): a quick lunch, a lingering aperitif or a proper dinner around a pizza.
Every reason to drop by
Lunch on the terrace
A pizza in the sun with the sea on the horizon: the perfect break when working or strolling in the south of Marseille.
Dinner with friends
Pizzas set in the middle of the table, to share over a glass, with the garlands lit and the harbour as a backdrop.
A family table
Young and old alike will be happy: tell us your wishes when booking, the house adapts to diets and children.
The full meal
Start with a tartare or a platter, finish with a homemade dessert, and turn your pizza into a real Mediterranean meal.
